My Science Fair Project is on how much iodide is in different types of salts. To begin iodide is a salt of hydriotic acid consisting of two elements one of which is iodide (1). I am going to be testing different types of salts, so I will so over all the types I will use. To begin I am going to be using table salt, table salt is very common, and it is a mineral composed primarily of sodium chloride which is a chemical compound belonging to the larger class of salts (2).The word salary comes from the
This is a research paper summarizing our Science Fair Project. We are building an articulate hand, and we are predicting that our hand can pick up and hold around 6.6-11Kg. Our hand will be made of wood and other materials, and we will be using a variety of tools. The originated word for robot came from the Czech word robota, and it turned out to translate into something like “forced labor.” In 1963, the first artificial robotic arm controlled by a computer was designed. It was called the “Rancho
The two major activities I’ve done in high school were joining my school’s FIRST Robotics team, and competing in the science fair. In ninth grade my biology teacher convinced me to explore our school's robotics team. They had been trying to recruit girls, and I had decided that I aimed to have a career related to STEM, but I had little expertise in technology. I figured that the robotics club would be an excellent way to learn a thing or two. The first day I arrived I realized why the coach of
almost impossible for her to restart the project and finish it in time. She knew she had to think of something fast, so she came up with the idea of getting help from the science club she was in. Each person was happy to help and they all brought a tool to help the project. They got the job done right in time for the science fair. The science fair was a three-day event. The first day everyone showed their projects. The judges picked the top five best projects to move on to the next round. As they
riches story, altered my life, leading by example and encouraging me to follow the path of righteousness. In school, I excelled in academics and sport. Thus, with a keen and intelligent disposition, I favor the rigorous but systematic discipline of science. A cricket
of our technocratic society. The development of computers has shaped the way science and technology is viewed in different cultures around the world. Today any information we seek is just a click away. My fascination with computers started when my father took me to his office and I saw a computer for the very first time. It was one of the most memorable moments of my life. During my final year in school, computer science was introduced to the curriculum. It was around the same time that India witnessed
Background: The purpose of this experiment was to mix calcium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, water and phenol red, and observe the changes, but also determine which chemicals caused which reaction. Some important parts of this experiment are the scientific method and the fact that chemistry is the study of matter. These things are important because they help the examiner focus on the things that will most effitiontly help them figure their experiment out, but still give them some wiggle room to add
the most satisfying aspects of an academic career. Enabling students to fulfill their potential is immensely gratifying. My goal as a teacher is to help students understand, appreciate and create fascinating concepts and methodologies in computer science. I believe, teaching is largely an interactive process where both students and teachers can learn from each other. For me, two of the most important aspects of teaching is motivating students to stay engaged and challenging them with problems that
‘Science Quiz’ is a fantastic way to boost your knowledge and spirit of science. This is an important event of Regional Science Centre for the school students of Lucknow. The quiz is mostly Experiment based and aims to supplement school curriculum and developing a better understanding of science subjects. One can easily compare a human mind to a Universe which has no bounds, no frontiers. Suspended planets, fireball stars, space warps, time holes… it’s pretty easy to get Sci-fi while you think about
I still remember vividly the day when I was a 4th-grade student in the science fair among all the 9th-grade students of my school, the only student with robots in her exhibit. Demonstrating the three Lego Mindstorms RCX robots (Humanoid, Line follower, and Bumper robot) that I had constructed and programmed. All through the day, I got an overwhelming response, with teachers, students, and their parents appreciating my work. The day was arduous, but I enjoyed every bit of it and realized robots and
