It is the international branch campus of Swinburne…show more content… In addition, human resource management which considered to be the organizational function, deals with issues concerning with human capitals including but not limited to recruitment, hiring, compensation, training, performance management, safety, wellness, benefits, employee motivation, organization development, communication, and administration. Moreover, human resource management is known to be a comprehensive and strategic approach in managing human capital, the culture and climate of the workplace as well as its environment. Human resource management that are effective will likely enable the employees to contribute effectively and productively to the overall organizational direction and towards achieving the organizational objectives and goals (Heathfield, 2015). Human resource management organizational function indeed also plays a vital role in educational institutions. Moreover, just like other human resource management in other industry, it also involve functions such as staffing, training, compensation, safety and…show more content… One of our recommendations in enhancing the potential discriminatory practices in Swinburne University of Technology is through avoidance of incidents, as the old saying goes “prevention is better than cure”, and to treat each employees, students and visitors with an equitable manner. The significant first protection step that we think Swinburne University could possibly take in avoiding discriminatory practices is to set into place an anti-discrimination policies and procedures. In addition to the mentioned policies and practices, the University shall commits to educate all their employees and students through channel including meeting, integrated training and seminars or workshops in order to raise the awareness of seriousness of discrimination’s impact in the society. In this stage, meaningful communication and proper way of implementation plays a vital role in integrating anti-discrimination practices into the corporate’s
