People are getting terrified and sad because of all the shootings that are happening in many different states. In the article “Famous Speeches: "We call BS," Emma Gonzalez's speech to gun advocates”, by Emma Gonzalez it talks about how all of these shootings are going down but it is not always the victims fault and the shooters in Florida do not need a permit or a gun license which is not safe. In the article “Issue Overview: Guns in America”, by Bloomberg, talks about how there are many deaths every year in many different states and how guns have spreaded tremendously throughout years. Shootings happen numerous times and that is either because they are depressed or something got into their head but many people think it is wrong to go around…show more content…
In the article “Famous Speeches: "We call BS," Emma Gonzalez's speech to gun advocates”, states in the section “Stop Blaming The Victims”, paragraph one, lines one-five, that “How about we stop blaming the victims for something that was the student's fault? What about the people who let him buy the guns in the first place? What about the people at the gun shows, those who encouraged him to buy accessories for his guns to make them fully automatic? What about the people who didn't take his guns away from him when they knew he was angry and thinking about hurting people?” This information tells one that it is not the victim's fault that the shooter got encouraged to buy the gun or guns but it was also his or her parents fault because they knew that their child was angry or depressed but still allowed them to keep the gun; which was in bad hands. In the article “Issue Overview: Guns in America”, paragraph one, lines one-six, states “Every mass shooting in the United States starts a new debate over the right to own guns. Americans own more guns than anybody else on Earth. Firearms are involved in the deaths of more than 30,000 people in the U.S. each year.” This information can inform one that there are to many guns nowadays getting into the wrong hands and those people are killing more people every year. The amount of deaths change every year, but these shooting are becoming more and more common than they ever were.
