Are males and females treated equally? Some would argue the 19th amendment granted women equality; meanwhile others such as Bailey and Campbell “Gender Wars in Education” of would argue that there is still gender inequality. In “Speaking While Female” by Grant and Sandberg, the authors shine light onto gender bias in the work field. Grant and Sandberg make readers aware of the negative effects to women speaking in the work place and the gender bias within many work places; meanwhile trying to spread support to women to long term increase confidence and leadership of women.
