Power Vs. Governor's Power In Politics

Power is a beautiful thing that is used in politics. The question comes to mind, does a governor’s power over a state similar or different from the president’s power over our nation. I believe that both positions are similar and yet different because we need each position for different reasons.
A common similarity among the president and a state’s governor is how they are both expected to be the chief policy maker in their field. Even though these popular figures are seen in the media often and expected to be savvy leaders they actually have less power than most people think. Nevertheless, both individuals will still have to figure out of a budget because there is one for each state or our nation. Both jobs require that that travel is a must
