I believe that under no circumstances should a child be able to stay with their mothers in prison. I do not think visitations should even be allowed other than during the holidays. Parents who do anything to risk getting arrested do not deserve to see their kids. When you commit a crime, you know what you're getting yourself into and the risks associated with it. If that is the example that you are going to set for your child, then you do not deserve to have custody of your child let alone visitations with them. If children were able to stay with their mothers in prison, the children would be being placed in really dangerous places surrounded by criminals.
