The old wolf and the pigs He was an old wolf who hunted alone in a forest in Oregon and he had gone months without taking a pig. The wolf was hungry and his bones showed through his fur and his neck was sunk and his eyes were the color of the dirt. His old feet were tired from walking many days, during which he had not found a pig to eat. He did not remember when it happened, but he talked to himself as he walks. “I do not remember when I started to talk to myself,” the old wolf said. “I do not remember when I learned to talk.
