Sharease Jackson, a female military veteran, was referred to the Mental Health Intensive Case Management Team (MHICMT) at the Veteran’s Administration (VA) for support services for attempting suicide and also being hospitalized numerous times for military sexual trauma (MST). According to Katz et al. (2012), MST is defined as sexual assault or sexual harassment of Sharease by several of her fellow service members. Her social worker, Patty, accompanied the discharge planner in her office located in the VA hospital, in order to receive the discharge plans for Sharease. Sharease disclosed to Patty that she was brutally sexually assaulted and verbally abused by a group of military men, which resulted in a medical discharge, multiple hospitalizations,
