Military Force Could you imagine if soldiers were given a choice as to which orders they would obey? I for one, could not. Our military certainly is not setup like that, and if it was, there would be a lot more chaos in the armed services. Each and every soldier is aware that there are penalties for insubordination up to and including court martial. There are many reasons as to why the military operate with such rigid rules.
