The child is raptured to God's throne. The male child is raptured in Revelation 12:5. The Greek word used is harpazo, which means "caught up" or "snatched up" and it is the word used for the rapture of the Church in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. Every single mention of Jesus' ascension is described using the words epairo or anabaino, both of which indicate a gradual rising (like climbing a mountain), not a quick and violent snatching away (harpazo). Revelation 12:5 is clearly connected to the Rapture event. Paul was also “caught up” to the third heaven and mentioned again being “caught up” into paradise (II Corinthians 12:2;4). The same Greek word, harpazo, is used all four times in these verses. It is not rocket science to put the pieces of the…show more content…
Argument #13 The “last trump” of I Corinthians 15:52 is not the seventh trumpet sounding in Revelations for the book of Revelation had not been written yet, and the Corinthians KNEW exactly what Paul was referring to. They knew it was the last trumpet in Exodus chapter 19. As we mentioned before, most preachers today cannot locate “the last trump” in the Bible! Their presumptuous…show more content…
The Bride of Christ Perhaps this will be the most difficult chapter to understand. The Bride of Christ is a mystery not often discussed and preached about. The Bride of Christ is not the Church, but is a vital, component part of the Church, or the Body of Christ. A Christian must know this truth or the devil can beguile him of his reward in Christ’s kingdom. “Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that ye receive a full reward” II John 8 Well, here comes the shocker, the one statement that you may never have heard. The Bride of Christ are Christians who are sanctified and perfected, that come “out of the Church” or a “remnant” from within the Church who have overcome SIN! Christians who have not overcome the world, the flesh, sin, and the devil will not be raptured when Jesus comes. It will be the Bride of Christ who goes, as Jesus set forth the condition, WE MUST OVERCOME, to wit: “And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron…” Revelation 2:26-27
