Not Always Rainbows and Butterflies
Respect is so important in our society, yet some people lack respect. For an example, I am going to use a personal life situation. My dad left my family when I was young. He moved to Minnesota and got into some bad trouble. It started with painkillers, over the years it got way worse. My dad has messed up so much and has let me down so many times. He never calls me or sends anything, not even on my birthday. My mom does not have any respect for him, she asks me why do I care about him so much and all he does is lets me down. I don’t care what my dad has done or that he left, when I get the chance to see him I am so happy, I show him that I haven’t given up on him. Before the movie starts it say please turn off your phones and be quiet. People pay a lot of money for the movies and everyone needs to respect the rules. Give the movie your full attention; you went there to watch a movie not talk. Similarly when you go out to dinner with your friends or your parents, give them your full attention. If you are invited to a dinner at your friend’s house and you don’t like the food they’ve cooked don’t say “ Oh my god this is gross!” or something rude similar to that. Eat what you can and thank them for cooking you a meal and inviting you
