Over the years weight gain has been a big issue in the news, what is the best plan for someone to eat? How much should they eat? What are good carbs and what are bad carbs? How much sugar or what kind of sugar is good for you? Real Cane Sugar, Fruit Sugar, or Brown Sugar which should we eat or not eat. How much to drink and what to drink? Water, Tea (sweet or unsweet), Cola or Coffee are these the best choices for us to drink and how much are we to drink each day? However, experts say that it is better if we the things that we like with moderation and in small portions. According to Elisa Zied, RDN she says that “Eat all the foods you enjoy—but the key is to do it in smaller quantities.” We should never have to give up the foods that we like best. We should just learn to eat them within reason and portion size and we need to remember also that we need to do a daily activity so that we do not eat more than what our bodies can expel and not store in excess fat. When we restrict ourselves to our diets then we will have a tendency to over compensate by purging on what is considered “not good” for us and then living with regrets because we fell off track on our task to maintain or lose the excess weight that we started the diet for in the first place.
