Personal Narrative-The Streets In The Lower East Side

The streets in the Lower East Side are always crowded, full with people of all different cultures. People were dressed in many ways, expressing who they really are. As I was sitting in Essex Street train station waiting in the hot weather for the train, I notice something that caught my attention; it was a tall guy with a beard wearing a white backwards button down shirt. Before taking this picture I noticed how confused and distracted the guy looked. He was walking really slowly from left to right, from right to left. I was indeed curious which made me question what was going on and why was he reacting like that. As soon as I started looking closely I notice he had two different shoes on. I saw people getting mad, their faces full of tension. One of the ladies had their eyebrows so arched looked ready to explode. It scared me a bit and I tried not to make eye contact. I kept walking with a smile in my face and eager to know what was going on with the guy. All I could think about was the guy that caught my attention. As I got closer , I walked to go back it was like in one way I was getting pulled closed , and the other way I was getting pulled back to return what I was normally doing . I felt sympathy; I felt all these types of emotions that I don’t usually feel in the normal basis. I was walking directly towards to him; if I wouldn’t turned when walking I would have bumped right in front of him. I was so nervous standing right in front of him, my hands were sweating at any moment I felt like I was going to throw up and run away . I wasn’t used to walking up to strangers, it was something out of comfort zone, but I knew something was up and the guy looked like he needed help. It always triggered me to help somebody when I see them
