In the year of 2011 my football team made it to the super bowl or the championship in the league. We were undefeated up to the game and this game could be one of the biggest in our youth football career. Our game was versus our county rival North Vermillion. We had beat them earlier in the season by two points. This would be one of our last chances to win the Super Bowl. It was set to be one of the most heated games of the year. In the first quarter of the game we were fired up and ready to play. It turned out that we were equally matched. The score was 0-0 at the end of the first quarter. Our offense was working but we couldn't put the ball in the end zone. Our defense was able to stop them. We however were not going to give up this just made us more fired up to play the game.…show more content…
The aroma we smelled was the food from the concession. We started to taste defeat but we knew that we were still in this game. This game was still tied halfway into the second quarter. The game kept on going and during one play are quarterback got hit hard and went down. The game was paused as we waited to see if our leader of our offense was still good to play. It turns out that our quarterback was not okay to play so we had to play our second string quarterback. He had been quarterback in past seasons but just wasn't the starter this year. This made our hopes still in the game because we could rely on him. The second quarter came to an end and it was still tied
