Personal Narrative: My Tutoring Experience

Today, I finally began my tutoring experience at Glenwood Elementary School. It got off to a rocky start, but as stated before, those are the experiences that happen when becoming a new teacher. I worked with two students today. The students I worked with today were elementary aged fourth grade students who were working on their multiplication facts. I was very impressed on how well the students knew their multiplication facts and how well they were comfortable with me being in their classroom for the first time. I showed them the multiplication nines trick and it really seemed to help them when getting to a problem that involved a nine being multiplied.
