I am from an extremely small town in Tennessee. I spent my entire childhood there, a place with seemingly no escape. That is to say, no one came in and no one left. Most people were okay with that since they didn't want to leave to begin with. For as long as I can remember and as cliche as it sounds, I have had a burning desire to leave my minuscule town and see what the rest of the world has to offer. Just six months ago I was afforded the opportunity of a lifetime; to move here to Hawaii and continue my education. I knew this move would open so many doors for me.
