My uncle handed me a soft top board that I could barely hold underneath my arm and we headed towards the beach. On the beach my uncle taught me how to paddle, how to jump up on the board, and were to stand on the stringer. I soon started to like the ocean more and more every minute now. Until I started to try and catch a wave. Wave after wave I tried to catch but I would either miss it or I would fall on it. After I while i gave up and paddled in, I hated the ocean even more than I used to now. Then my uncle paddled in and said convinced somehow for me to go back, so I did.
