Personal Narrative Essay: The Day I Fell Off My Dirt Bike

One of the most eye-opening experiences of my life was the day I fell off my dirt bike because I wasn’t thinking very logically. The day I fell of my dirt bike made me realize that I needed to be more careful and listen to my parents because I never want to experience that amount of excruciating pain ever again. I was full of excitement and very hard headed so that did not mix well with a dirt bike but it all started on December 25, 2015. Yes, Christmas Day. I had just finished my opening all my presents and was just about to head upstairs when my mother tells me to go look in the garage! I was very thrown off by this that I slowly opened the door until I eventually saw a dirt bike. It was a red Yamaha with a large exhaust pipe. Then I saw a little pink helmet on it and I turned to my dad and told him that I was not wearing that. Then I saw another one that was for my sister and I was confused because I knew that she would never get within five yards of that thing. He told me that he was going to mow the grass as I rode, and I was ok with that. As I was getting it out and hopping on it he warned me not to go to fast, but I didn’t listen. I ended up flying around as he got ready to mow the grass and he yelled at me to not go that fast. Then out in the yard I flew by my dad, the funny one of the family as he mowed the grass yelling at me (App.). Then on about the third turn I lost it and the bike and I went flying as it landed on my back. It ended up landing on my back and the tire landed on my back still spinning(prep.). When I finally got it off my back, I realized my shirt had a big hole in it and that my back was super cut up and
