Paola Rodriguez, originally from Mexico, is a new student at Aurora High School. She is 17 years old and she is a senior. After living in Minnesota for three years, she moved to Nebraska with her aunt. Paola said the reason she moved was that she wanted to learn more English. Her goals for this year are to improve her writing and to be able to speak more fluently. She said that she likes this school because the people are very nice to her. Paola said the most difficult thing about going to school here is that her first language is Spanish, and it is not always easy to find the right words in English.
