Osgood’s Attitude curve had the most impact on me this year, primarily because I’m still in high school and see this in teachers all the time. Especially in elementary education, many of the brand new teachers always have the ideal that they’re changing the world with their kids, but as I move up to high school and I see teachers who have taught for years, or even decades, they fall a lot more within the aware to committed range of the Osgood curve. I see teachers that feel a lot less captive to administration, especially when it comes to voicing their opinion on things like staff meetings or administration in the school. Younger teachers are a lot more likely to act weary of what they say and make sure they follow protocol on every step. One
