The NBA is an association in the United States that governs the basketball league, however, there are very few women in the association. Why? The fact that women are denied the ability to involve themselves in the prestigious league is quite appalling. Not a single female had the opportunity to try to become the head coach for one of the teams and its just disgusting how they are not even considered as applicants. Although many of the head coaches of other teams have spoken out and released statements such as “If there is a woman that is the best qualified to coach an NBA team, I don’t see why it wouldn’t happen.” However, I guess actions do speak louder than words in the case of the NBA.
