The Japanese soldiers only left when the American forces landed at the beach of Barangay Parara, Tigbauan, Iloilo. It is the time when Nenita Unit had arrived at her families' place. Nenita Unit is the troop of Filipino soldiers that are deployed with the aim to end the occupation of the Japanese here in the Philippines. But even if the Japanese soldiers are not here anymore the people are still very cautious of their surroundings, they are being paranoid. The Japanese Occupation really cause alot of trauma on people of Visayas.

She is already living on her current address now Barangay Linobayan, Tigbauan, Iloilo. Having experienced the Japanese Occupation in thethe Philippines she do not want her freedom to be taken away once again. They have done a parade or march or rally carrying lighted torches made of bamboo stick. While parading or marching or rallying they are shouting but she do not quite remember what they had been shouting all along. They are also wearing a handkerchief while parading or marching or rallying. Every house a minimum one person had joined in what they call as Barangay Brigade. Almost all of the population on their community or in their barangay Linobayan had participated on the Barangay Brigade march. They have done this only one time. They have paraded or marched or rallied for more or less five hours from seven o'clock in the evening up to twelve o'clock on midnght. When they are on their way back they have gathered together again to light and burn their torches and handkerchiefs used while parading or marching or rallying into
