In the story “Where the Mountain Meets the Moon,” Minli, a young woman full of
hope, goes on a journey, hoping to change her family’s bad fortune. Minli has an opposite

become friends. One of these magical creatures includes a dragon, which later decides to
follow her on her quest to find the Old Man of the Moon.
