Executive vice president- set the enterprise level in a strategic direction to fit their function. Chief Financial Officer- Head of the division. The company has close to about seven hundred stores, all of which are under the name of Macy’s and Bloomingdale, Bluemercury and Macy’s Backstage. There are about one hundred and sixty specialized designed shops under the name. In the Us, they operate in forty-five states and has extended to South American countries, such as Puerto Rico, District of Columbia and Guam. It also has specialized stores in Middle East countries such as Dubai and Kuwait. During the last year, Macy’s experienced decreased sales, especially during the holiday sales. Consequently, this led to the decision to close more than sixty stores within the year. The company has also scheduled close to thirty-four stores within the coming few years. As much as the company is closing the outlets, it has not announced the plans to open any new stores shortly. The eleven stores that have been scheduled to start include the Laguna Hill mall, Novato, both in California.
