Life expectancy is a frequently used component of demography and represents the average life span from birth. As the population ages, life expectancy changes and by the time a human reaches their first year to the time of late adulthood, their chances of survival to a very old age increases. For example, although the life expectancy from birth for all people in the United States is 77.7 years, those who live to age 65 will have an average of almost 18 additional years left to live, making their life expectancy almost 83 years (Rosenberg, 2015). This argument concurs with my study at the cemetery of the fifty individuals, which shows that survivorship increases from an early age up through individuals living up to 100 years. By
