1. Hamlet’s father was killed by Claudius and laertes’s father was killed by Hamlet. Both Hamlet and Laertes wanted to avenge their father’s murder. However, while hamlet was full of self doubt, confused and a thinker, Laertes was quick to kill his father’s murderer. He did not think about the consequences.
