The Use of Plot in Judith Ortiz Cofer’s Catch the Moon Luis is a Hispanic American that is struggling with the loss of his mother at a younger age. In the short story Catch the Moon, by Judith Ortiz Cofer, Luis will exprince many colfllics and through these conflicts Cofer will use the themes of copping with the death of a loved one and the coming of age.
