Living a God-centered life is the perfect verbal statement depicting Jonathan Edwards! Edwards life from a very young teen was insatiable in gaining more knowledge of God and of God's sovereignty. Edwards was born in East Windsor, Connecticut, to Timothy Edwards and Esther Edwards, the only son in a family of eleven children and he was the grandson of Minister Solomon Stoddard. Edwards entered Yale in September, 1716 when he was not yet thirteen, and graduated four years later as valedictorian, and received his Masters three years later. After graduating, Edwards married Sarah Pierpont at seventeen, and they had eleven children like his parents. Ultimately, Edwards is still world renowned as was one of the most prominent preachers of all times.
