The novel Warm Bodies written by Isaac Marion, shows a society where the essence of life, is overrun by the remaining people barely thriving just surviving to get by. We see what is left of the world through the eyes of R. R is a zombie with no identity or memories, however there is something special about R, a spark of life in a being with no pulse. Marion explores the theme that life is about more than just survival, this theme is explored through characterisation, dialogue and setting.
