Statement: He reunited the white people with the black people Nelson Mandela impacted the South African community by protesting and never giving up also when he was for 27 years in prison. Before he was in prison he was protesting against the white people. He wanted that the black people have the power and take revenge on the white people. He was in the ANC (African National Congress). The ANC is a party that was fighting against white people during the Apartheid. He gave the black people with the protests motivation. He did many protests where many black people died. Because the police of the white just shoot on the black people. Nelson Mandela and his friends planned sabotage but he failed because at the way back the white police found him and arrested him with his friends. The white police was searching for him. After Nelson Mandela came out of prison with De Klerks (president of South Africa 1989-1994) help. A little bit before Mandela came out of prison, groups of black people killed their own people, because they thought when the black people have the power some people lose power. He joined in a party that wanted to share the power with the black people and etc. Most people of South Africa voted for the party, because they didn’t want to see black people die and Nelson Mandela was one of the leader of the ANC.
