If I knew what was coming from the Nazis, I could've dissembled myself after they came under control, which may have rendered me free since I will no longer have the burden of a Jewish identity on me. Unfortunately I was inept at doing so, and then I was sent to the Birkenau concentration camp with a prodigious number of Jews (Hundreds of them). At times, it's mind-boggling to me as to how quickly our population can dwindle, considering the large amount of Jews I saw during the selection.
