The result of drug interaction become harmful if the interaction causes an increase in the toxicity of the drug, However, a decrease in clinical response to drug can be occur and sometimes can be dangerous especially in the chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. These undesirable and unbeneficial adverse side effects for drug interactions. Contrariwise, there are other drug interaction that are wanted and beneficial, like the co-administration of diuretics and antihypertensive (Hydrochlorothiazide and Lisinopril) drugs to obtain a decrease in blood pressure effects that possibly not achievable when either drug used alone. Moreover, biochemical test abnormalities such as an increase in serum creatinine, raised in serum alkaline phosphatase, elevated in serum liver function enzymes, elevated in serum bilirubin. In the presence of diabetes complication such as ketoacidosis or coma, Gliclazide should not be used also it is contraindicated in severe renal and hepatic impairment. The patient who have impaired renal or hepatic function and taking Gliclazide needs to strict monitor. In addition, Gliclazide should not be given to patient who are sensitive to sulphonylurea compounds or whom alcoholic consumer. Gliclazide can cause hypoglycemia symptoms that include lack of energy, drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, nervousness and numbness have also been reported. Hypoglycemia is more common to occur when food intake is insufficient or after long physical exercise, during illness or stressful conditions such as trauma or operation, the doctor may consider stopping the gliclazide and substituted with insulin until the state
