Acquittal Does Not Mean You Are a Good Person or Will Become One George Zimmerman is best known as the man who shot Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012. On July 13, 2013, he was acquitted of any wrongdoing. Since then, Zimmerman has been involved in several other incidents involving violence and buffoonery such as confrontations with the police and allegedly assaulting his ex-wife and girlfriends. Most recently, a "Twitter fan" addressed Zimmerman as a "one man army" and tastelessly posted a picture of Martin lying dead in the grass. Then, as quickly as he came, Zimmerman disappeared back into the darkness from which he arose, "As much as I love owning all you trolls I have to work... On my tan!. He also teamed up with a gun store owner in Florida to sell his confederate flag paintings. The gun store made the news when it declared itself a "Muslim Free Zone." Other notable mentions for Zimmerman included his tweet “Cops lives matter, black slime doesnt [sic]” and his response to President Obama, “the # of people who die from gun-related incidents around this country dwarfs any deaths that happen through terrorism,” - Ignorant
