Christianity, Judaism and Islam introduce differing beliefs on the creation of humanity and the story of the first partnership of Adam and Eve, so I have chosen to research how differing creation stories, as well as their interpretations, have created the gender roles that are found across the Abrahamic faiths. I expect to find that most Christian and Jewish interpretations are similar in their ideas of gender roles. I believe that both faiths have a middle ground where women are thought of as an equal to their male counterpart. However, Islam will be the outlier of the three. I believe that my research will conclude that women are thought of as inferior to men within the Islamic faith. This in turn will show that women have fewer rights and
