“Identify both conventional and innovative solutions including governmental and nongovernmental means addressing the problem.” (Gastil, John, 2008 p.185) There was a complaint with a student; she was transferring to our college and wanted her transcript to be evaluated from a foreign country. We inform her that the advisor would send an e-mail to the department that evaluates all transcripts and it will take up to six weeks. We had a meeting regarding this issue because she complained to the Dean of student services, that the amount of time to evaluate a transcript was too long and why couldn’t an advisor help her there to evaluate the transcript.
