There is always something you will learn when you're with your bestfriend. The book Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck is a realistic fiction novel that shows different types of emotions that friends go through. Two friends work on a ranch so they can get a place of their own. One friend finds that he really needs to take care of and help the other. In the book George and Lennie have a relationship that most people could not have. they show three different types of emotions; happiness, loneliness, and disappointment. When George and Lennie are together there is so much happiness. George keeps telling Lennie the dream, George and Lennie have a plan to own an acre of land and own a bunch of rabbits so Lennie can take care of them. If Lennie’s good he will get to tend to the rabbits if Lennie does anything bad George won’t let him tend to the rabbits. Lennie will go to this peaceful place by the pond if he gets in trouble, but if anything bad happens Lennie has to go wait in a bus by the pond until George gets there. When George left to go to town with the other guys Lennie stayed at the ranch, and he wondered to crooks room, and crooks and Lennie were talking and crooks told Lennie that George wouldn’t come back for him, Lennie got really mad and got all offensive when crooks told him that. Lennie went to the pond to clear his head and he would go in the woods and find a cave if George didn’t want anything to do with Lennie.
