Elgi stands today as the largest compressor manufacturer in Asia with manufacturing facilities expanded in 4 continents. Elgi has all varieties of air compressors from the basic reciprocating to screw compressors, oil free compressors, water injected and centrifugal compressors and all ranges starting from 1 bar to 400 bar. Role: New product:  New product manufacturing, prove out either internally or externally or both and streamline of operations.  Take part in in product design reviews for validation of new product design.  Meeting required quality at estimated cost and timeline (KPI’s) on the new products.  Design of Jig and Fixtures for new product introductions.  Participating/conducting in PFMEA and DFM for new product introduction.  Determination of process flow for new product.  CNC programming including, turning, Vertical milling, Horizontal milling, grinding, screw grinding centers.  Selection/ buying machine/ tooling’s for carrying out new product introduction.  Develop and coordinate with suppliers for manufacturing of new part.  Control document preparation (process sheets, quality plan etc…).
