1. Introduction The use of first language or second language (L1/L2) is still used in teaching English classroom as a Foreign Language. Actually, the term of using L1/L2 in EFL classes is ongoing debates in some occasion by looking some consideration between pro and contra of using L1/L2 in EFL classes. In any cases, the term of first language is the first language that the students got from their mother and they may continue to use it in the rest of their life and second language is a language that the students are familiar with after the first language (Subhashinie Punchihetti, University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Sri Lanka, 2013). It makes we are as a teacher cannot completely remove their first language or second language in the classroom. By using L1/L2, make the instructions or the tasks that the teacher gives are clear, the topic or the meaning are clear, and L1/L2 can help the students to understand the difficult words or grammar that the teacher used. It also means that L1/L2 can help the teachers when they give the examples, concept and giving the extra explanation. While the negative effects are the students will feel bored because the students are not able to speak and think using English if the teachers use L1/L2 frequently (Gholam-Ali Kalanzadeh, Fatemeh Hemati, Zahra Shahivand, and Morteza Bakhtiarvand, February 2013).
