In the play the crucible, written by Arthur Miller, a love triangle is created and this produces a large amount of tension between certain characters. The love triangle consists of three very important characters in the play, Elizabeth Proctor, John proctor, and Abigail Williams. Abigail William desires john proctor so desperately, and this causes her to act in certain ways and do certain things. On the other hand, John proctor knows very well the consequences of what they did. He wants to keep distance from Abigail, and does not want anyone in the village to know about this because it could have very dangerous results.
Abigail desires John proctor very badly and this drives her to do certain things that are not allowed, and even forbidden,
