Crossfit is a fitness program to train your body in an intensive and proper manner. It is not meant for the lighthearted. One does not have to be in great shape to do such exercise, however it is best to be fit. Being fit is both a combination of eating properly and doing what is best for your body. I believe it to have a different definition for every individual. The workout is intended for individuals whom take it upon themselves to build up core power. It is not to be mistaken with muscle power. Core power is what one can do with your bare hands and your own weight. Martial arts is a great example of core power.
