What are the consequences of rejecting/ignoring Christ What are the consequences of rejecting or ignoring Christ? This question runs through many people's minds. Jesus himself warns of the consequences of rejecting Him in Matthew 7:13 when Jesus warns “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.” Many people much prefer the road to hell because it is a very easy road to follow. He's a gracious and forgiving God because he wants us to come to Him. It's amazing that God even gives you a choice and this is where it all starts. You will never be punished for something you have never been educated about. This is why you have the choice to reject or follow when you have come to learn about Christ as your savior. It all rests on how much you actually know about him, he will never condemn you if you didn't even have the chance to know about him.…show more content…
Jesus talks about this in John 3:18 where he says “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” This means that if you reject his name you have been judged already only because you do not believe in the name Jesus Christ, so when you do come to meet with Jesus face to face you will be judged righteously (when rejecting christ) because you chose to judge him.
