There are many similarities and differences between the two creation accounts in Genesis. The first creation story in Genesis 1:1-2:4a 5. Describe the reign of King David in full sentences. The reign of Israel’s King David lasted forty years and was later referred to as the “Golden Age.” David was born in Bethlehem and worked as a shepherd. He also played the flute and the harp. He not only unified all the tribes of Israel into one nation, he conquered the un-conquerable city of Jerusalem and made it the capital. By doing so he made Israel not only an economic powerhouse but also a religious one for all the Jewish people.
