Tim Burton very courageously shows character development in his movie Corpse Bride, and his short movie Vincent. The two protagonists Victor (Corpse Bride) and Vincent (Vincent) both experience life changing events in which changes their lives in small and large ways. The characters in both movies are rather different, and Tim Burton decided to show it in the text and visuals that are in the movies. He creates unique characters that are polar opposites and uses the opportunity to discover new and spontaneous characters.
