“How much obesity has to be created in a single decade for people to realize that that diet has to be responsible for it?” (Robert Atkins). Obesity is a major problem in many countries across the world. It even is prevalent in the United States and it is because of the foods the average person eats. Diet is a major cause of obesity, but the real problem is the availability of healthy foods. Many developing countries struggle with this issue because they do not have money to purchase the healthier foods which cost more than unhealthy, junk food. The Bahamas is a developing country located southeast of Florida. It is a group of islands located in the Atlantic Ocean. The country contains a population of 378,040 people. (Bahamas Population 2017). About 83 percent of that population is urban and 17 percent of the population is rural. (Living in the Bahamas). The government consists of a Constitutional Democracy, therefore the structures, powers and limits of the government are set in place within a constitution. As for the climate the best time of the year is between September and May when the average temperature is between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius.
