Case Summary: The Nishi Ku Okinawa Housewife Murder
1212 Words5 Pages
In the past couple of days I have found myself intrigued by Japanese unresolved crimes but was also extremely saddened by the lack of information available in English for most of the cases. After several days of research I came across the heart-breaking murder of Namiko Takaha, and having found no articles or reports written in English regarding the case I decided to make a post of my own.
Beforehand, I would like to note all of the sources I have relied on are originally in Japanese and have been translated using mostly Google Translation. I have no experience nor knowledge of the Japanese language and therefore cannot certify the accuracy of the information I’m posting. I have, however, done my best in order to compile to all the details of the case I’ve been able to find and hope people will find this case as intriguing as I have.
If any of you is a Japanese speaker and wish to contribute with more information feel free to contact me! Corrections are also welcome.
Note: I would also like to apologize for any grammatical mistakes I’ve made throughout the post. English is not my first language, and I still make quite a lot of mistakes.
