An action plan, treatment, advice and support can be provided to the suffers, but there is no guarantee that they will follow through with these plans. This will in turn cost the service provider time, money and resources on a patient who will not co-operate with plans that have been made to benefit their overall health and well-being. Furthermore, the individual who is receiving the treatment may not understand how to correctly administer the treatment to themselves.
