Bollywood movies are known all over the world not only for their storylines/actors,but also because bollywood is the only industry in the whole world that makes the maximum number of films in a year. Keeping that in mind it is fairly easy to assume that the level of competition is intense inside the industry but one movie stands out till this day. Released in 1995 with a box office budget of 650,000 $ , Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ for short) is one of the highest grossing films of bollywood with an estimated box office return of over 20 million USD. The film was ranked by Indiatimes Movie among the "25 Must See Bollywood Films". It made about 17 million USD in India and about 2.5 million USD abroad. This was the first blockbuster Indian movie that includes NRI”s as the main characters. This was one of the reasons that the film was able to do well abroad. A lot of NRI’s were able to relate to the film as the character’s were NRI’s. Along with Shah rukh khan and Kajols astounding chemistry DDLJ was able to deliver a milestone to the world of Indian cinema. This film was declared a classic by many movie
