Do you live in a small town or a big city? Do you get aggravated by busy traffic or are scared of the crime rate that keeps increasing? There are many benefits for living in a small town such as lower crime rate, shorter commutes, small churches, and friendly neighbors that can be trusted. There are many advantages of living in a big city, but the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. In this paper, I will tell you why living in a small city can be so much more sweeter and comfortable than living in a big city. One reason it is better to live in a small city is shorter commutes. Living in a big city, you can expect very busy traffic and long waits. When you live in s a small city, you can gaurantee shorter commutes and less time stuck in traffic. It can be very frustrating waiting in traffic especially when you have a commitment such as work. In a big city, you could easily sit at the same stoplight for multiple cycles. This would cause excessive gas usage whereas in small towns, you can expect more efficient use of your gasoline. Living in a small town, can also provide less wear and tear on your vehicle because there is less stopping and starting points. In large cities with higher volumes of traffic, you are more likely to be in an accident causing damage to your vehicle and possibly your family.…show more content…
In a bigger city you could pay close to double or triple the amount you would pay to live in a smaller town. For example, if there was a couple wanting to start a family with a tight budget, they could go buy or rent a home in a smaller town for more than half the price of the same home in a bigger city. Also, in a bigger city you may be buying more than you need. In a small town, you can find what you want and how much you want for a perfect and reasonable price.
