It begins with A as in “acquire your sun hats” and ends in A for “apparently the beautiful photographs did not include the excruciating heat that it holds”. Arizona is famous for its Wild West past and for being the home base for the road runner and the initial habitat for the notorious coyote. Further north, there are forests of Ponderosa pine and various other types of pine trees. The sight has most people scratching their heads when they find these piney pockets of forest in a state known for deserts. The elevation is not consistent here, but like everywhere it varies from high to low. If one drives into northern region of the state of Arizona, he will uncover one of nature’s greatest treasures in the world: the Grand Canyon. The Canyon is made up of unique rock forms and crevices at a breath-taking large scale. The complex structure of sediment is a whopping length of 277 miles and a width of 18 miles.
