Arizona is the state in which I live. I have resided here for 12 years. Location is a very important piece of information when locating a region, town, or city. To effectively fined a location look at the absolute or relative location. Absolute location refers to the exact coordinates of the location, while relative location is less specific. Arizona’s absolute location is 34.0000 degrees north and 112.0000 degrees west. An example of Arizona’s relative location would be Arizona is located north of Mexico, east of California, west of New Mexico, and south of Utah. The climate can vary greatly depending on the elevation. During the summer the temperature can reach up to 120 degrees. The state boarders Mexico, so naturally there is a very high Hispanic population within the region. This is the remnants of the early Spanish settlers in the region. The Mexican influence contributes to our state culture in a verity of ways. One of these contributions is authentic Mexican cuisine and music. The language has also influenced street and city names. Though even with the contributions illegal immigration is a topic of controversy and some believe that Arizona should halt immigration due to an increasingly large population growth. Native American Tribes are still present in Arizona as well. Arizona is of course in America which means that there is a score of different ethnic backgrounds as well. The presents of the old ruins and Spanish missions is an economic gain to Arizona. These are popular tourist attractions, and many come to see these areas.
